Lodging

The conference intends to cover up to two nights (Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2) for the cost of lodging for the invited speakers and selected graduate students, postdocs, and young faculty. Lodging support will not be in the form of reimbursement but rather in the form of direct payment to the hotels we arrange.

The organizers will make the hotel reservation and room assignments and provide the information to the hotel.

Requests for lodging support should be made on the registration form. Participants need to complete the registration form by April 1 to be considered for support. The organizers will notify the participants by April 7 of their hotel and room assignment.  Cancellations need to be made by April 27. 

Due to a large demand, hotels in Lawrence are filling up fast. For those not requesting lodging support and plan to make their own hotel reservation, we recommend that you make a hotel reservation as soon as possible.  We suggest googling hotels in Lawrence.

Travel Support

The conference will have some funds to reimburse travel expenses for the invited speakers and selected graduate students, postdocs, and young faculty.  Requests for travel support should be made on the registration form.  Participants need to complete the registration form by April 1 to be considered for support.  The organizers will notify the participants of their travel awards by April 7.
